Rainfall
Temperature
- Warm temperatures above 32℃ are expected in eastern and central Sudan, northern Eritrea, the Afar region in Ethiopia, Djibouti, and the north-western coastal region of Somalia.
- Moderate temperatures in the range of 20 - 32℃ are expected in western Sudan, South Sudan, central to northern Uganda, parts of western & southeastern Tanzania, eastern and northern Kenya, Somalia, parts of southeastern & northern Ethiopia.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in western Ethiopia, parts of central & western Kenya, southern Uganda spreading into Rwanda & Burundi, and parts of central, western and southern Tanzania.
Headline: Moderate rainfall is expected over southwestern Sudan and northwestern South Sudan. Heavy rainfall is expected in limited regions of Illubabor, W. Wollega, E. Wollega, and Jimma in Southwest Ethiopia are expected.

- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 200 mm is expected in western Ethiopia, northwestern South Sudan, and southern and southwestern regions of Sudan.
- Light rainfall of less than 30 mm is expected in parts of southern Sudan, western South Sudan,
central and eastern Ethiopia, western Eritrea, a few regions in central, western, and coastal Kenya,
central Uganda, Rwanda, southern Somalia, and southeastern Tanzania - Dry conditions are expected in central and northern Sudan, much of Eritrea, Djibouti, northeastern
and southeastern Ethiopia, northern Somalia, northern and eastern Kenya, parts of northern Uganda, and western Tanzania.
