- Warm temperatures above 28 ℃ are expected in most of South Sudan, south-eastern Sudan, parts of north-western Kenya, and eastern Tanzania.
- Moderate conditions in the range of 20 - 28 ℃ are expected in central Sudan, north-western South Sudan, most of Uganda, most of Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Tanzania, and Ethiopia (central region).
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20 ℃ are expected in regions of north-western Sudan, central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, western part of Kenya, western Rwanda and Burundi, and limited areas in Uganda and Tanzania.
Headline: Limited rainfall is expected over Burundi and Tanzania, while the rest of the region is expected to remain dry.
- Rainfall between 10 - 100 mm is expected over southern parts of Burundi, and southern and south-western parts of Tanzania.
- The rest of the region is excepted to remain dry, these includes Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and north-eastern Tanzania (except the coastal parts of Sudan and Eritrea).
