High temperatures above 32oC are forecasted in northern Sudan, coastal Eritrea, parts of northeastern Ethiopia, parts of Djibouti and regions in northwestern coast of Somalia.
Moderate temperature between 20-32oC are expected over southern Sudan, South Sudan, northeastern and southeastern Ethiopia, much of Somalia, northwestern and eastern Kenya, much of Uganda, eastern Rwanda, eastern Burundi and western and eastern Tanzania.
Low temperatures below 20oC are forecasted over much of southern to northern Ethiopia, parts of central to western Kenya, parts of central Uganda, western Rwanda, western Burundi and parts of central Tanzania.

Heavy rainfall above 200 mm is expected in most parts of western Ethiopia and isolated regions in central and western Sudan
Moderate rainfall, 50-200 mm is forecasted over southern Sudan, western and central Ethiopia, western Eritrea, western and central South Sudan, parts of northern and central Uganda and western Kenya.
Light rainfall less than 50 mm is forecasted in parts of central Sudan, southern Ethiopia, Djibouti, northern and southern Somalia, eastern and northwestern Kenya, northeastern and southern Uganda, Rwanda, parts of Burundi, and eastern and southern Tanzania.
Dry conditions are expected in central and western Tanzania, parts of eastern and northern Kenya, central Somalia, southeastern and northeastern Ethiopia, southeastern Eritrea and northern Sudan.

Exceptionally heavy rainfall (top 1% on record) is expected in isolated areas of western and northwestern Ethiopia
Very heavy rainfall (top 5% on record) is expected in central & western Sudan, parts of central Eritrea, western and eastern Ethiopia and few areas of northern Somalia
Heavy rainfall (top 10% on record) is forecasted over southwestern and eastern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, parts of western and eastern Ethiopia, isolated areas of northern Somalia and western Kenya
