- Warm temperatures above 28 ℃ are expected in eastern South Sudan, parts of north-western and eastern Kenya, southern Somalia, and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Moderate conditions in the range of 20 - 28 ℃ are expected in southern Sudan, western South Sudan, central to northern Uganda, parts of eastern and northern Kenya, central to southern Somalia; southern, north, eastern and western Ethiopia; Djibouti, much of Eritrea, and much of Tanzania.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20 ℃ are expected in parts of northern Sudan, central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, western and central Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, a few areas in Uganda, and Tanzania.
Headline: Moderate rainfall in central Tanzania.
Rainfall
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm is expected in central Tanzania, with few isolated regions receiving above 100 mm.
- Light rainfall of 10 - 50 mm is expected over most of Tanzania, Burundi, a few places in south-western and coastal Kenya, and south-west Somalia.
- Dry conditions or less than 10 mm are expected in Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, much of Somalia, much of Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and South Sudan.
