- Warm temperatures above 32℃ are expected in southern Sudan and north-eastern Ethiopia.
- Moderate temperatures in the range of 20 - 32 ℃ are expected in central and northern Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, much of Tanzania, eastern and northern Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, and southern and north-eastern Ethiopia.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in central Ethiopia, parts of central and western Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and parts of central to southern Tanzania.

Headline: Extremely heavy rainfall is expected in parts of north-eastern Kenya (Mandera County), and southern and eastern Ethiopia (Gode, Dire Dawa, Afar, and Wollo). Stakeholders are advised to take appropriate measures to reduce the risk to lives and properties.
- Very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over 200 mm (top 5 to 1% on record) is expected in parts of Mandera county in Kenya, and southern, central and eastern Ethiopia.
- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 50 - 200 mm is expected in South Sudan, south-eastern Sudan, much of Ethiopia, few places in Eritrea, north-western and southern Somalia; parts of central, western, and north-eastern Kenya; and north-western and eastern Tanzania.
- Light rainfall of less than 30 mm is expected in Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, north-eastern Somalia, south-eastern and north-western Kenya, and central and southern Tanzania.
- Dry conditions are expected in western Sudan and eastern Somalia.
