High daily-mean temperatures above 32^oC are expected in few places in central Sudan and northern Ethiopia.
Moderate daily-mean temperatures between 20-32^oC are expected over much of Sudan, South Sudan, north-eastern and south-eastern Ethiopia, much of Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, eastern and northern Kenya, much of Uganda, eastern Rwanda, eastern Burundi, and much of Tanzania.
Low temperatures below 20^oC are expected over central to southern Ethiopia, parts of central and western Kenya, south-western Uganda, western Rwanda and Burundi, and parts of southern Tanzania.

Moderate rainfall between 50-200 mm is expected in parts of southern Sudan; western, southern and eastern South Sudan; western and southern Ethiopia; Uganda, Rwanda, western parts of Burundi, north-western Tanzania, parts of central and western Kenya, and central to southern Somalia.
Light rainfall less than 50 mm is expected in central to southern areas of Sudan; parts of northern and south-eastern South Sudan; western and southern Ethiopia; central Eritrea; northern and southern Somalia; eastern, central and north-western Kenya; and coastal and western Tanzania.
Dry conditions are expected in northern Sudan, Djibouti, northern and southern Eritrea, northern and eastern Ethiopia, parts of northern Somalia, Djibouti, parts of eastern and north-western Kenya, and much of central Tanzania.
