Warm temperatures above 28℃ expected in parts of Turkana, Marsabit, Garissa, and Wajir counties in Kenya, Afar region in Ethiopia, parts of southern Somalia, and extreme southern Tanzania.
Moderate temperatures in the range 20-28℃ are expected in southern Sudan, South Sudan, central to northern Uganda, much of Tanzania, much of eastern Kenya, much of Somalia, Djibouti, much of southern and northern Ethiopia, and coastal and western Eritrea.
Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in parts of north-eastern and western Sudan, central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, central to western Kenya, southern Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.

Heavy rainfall (top 10 % in the record) is expected over the southern parts of Burundi, and central and eastern parts of Tanzania. This indicates a reduction in the heavy rainfall compared to the previous week.
From the 10th of December, the majority of the region is expected to remain dry except for Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and parts of southern and western Uganda.
