Heavy Rainfall: Forecast amounts are in the top 10% of rainfall experienced in this location in the past.
Very Heavy Rainfall: Forecast amounts are in the top 5% of rainfall experienced in this location in the past.
Extremely Heavy Rainfall: Forecast amounts are in the top 1% of rainfall experienced in location in the past.

Heavy rainfall above 200 mm expected in parts of central and northern Ethiopia, parts of southern and south-western Sudan, parts of northern South Sudan, and western Kenya.
Moderate rainfall ranging from 50-200 mm is expected in central, and northern Uganda, western Kenya, much of South Sudan, southern parts of Sudan, central and northern Ethiopia, and western Eritrea.
Light rainfall less than 50 mm is expected in parts of eastern and southern Tanzania, coastal and eastern Kenya, southern and northern Somalia, southern Ethiopia, south-eastern South Sudan, Djibouti, central and southern Eritrea, and northern Sudan.
Dry conditions are expected in Rwanda, Burundi, western and central Tanzania, southern Uganda, north-western and parts of eastern Kenya, central Somalia, parts of southern and south-eastern Ethiopia, and parts of northern Sudan.

High temperatures above 32 ℃ are expected in northern Sudan, coastal Eritrea, parts of north-eastern Ethiopia, parts of Djibouti, and regions in northern coastal Somalia.
Moderate temperature between 20-32 ℃ are expected over southern Sudan, South Sudan, north-eastern and south-eastern Ethiopia, much of Somalia, north-western and eastern Kenya, much of Uganda, eastern Rwanda, and western and eastern Tanzania.
Low temperatures below 20 ℃ are expected over much of southern to northern Ethiopia, central to western Kenya, central to southern Tanzania, much of Burundi, western Rwanda, and parts of central Uganda.
