High temperatures above 32oC are expected in northern Sudan, coastal Eritrea, parts of northeastern Ethiopia, parts of Djibouti and regions in northwestern coast of Somalia.
Moderate temperatures between 20-32oC are forecasted over southern Sudan, South Sudan, northeastern and southeastern Ethiopia, much of Somalia, northwestern and eastern Kenya, northern Uganda and western and eastern Tanzania.
Low temperatures below 20oC are forecasted over much of southern to northern Ethiopia, central to western Kenya, parts of central Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and parts of northern to southern Tanzania.

Heavy rainfall above 200 mm is expected in most parts of western Ethiopia, southwestern Sudan and northwestern South Sudan
Moderate rainfall, 50-200 mm is forecasted in central and western Ethiopia, western Eritrea, southern Sudan, western and southern South Sudan, parts of northern Uganda and western Kenya.
Light rainfall less than 50 mm is expected in parts of northern and central Sudan, southern Eritrea, Djibouti, much of Somalia, southern and eastern Ethiopia, eastern South Sudan, central and southern Uganda, parts of western, eastern and coastal Kenya and eastern Tanzania to southern regions.
Dry conditions are forecasted in central and western Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, southern Uganda, eastern and northwestern Kenya, eastern South Sudan, parts of southeastern Ethiopia, northeastern Somalia and northern Sudan.

Exceptionally heavy rainfall is expected in a few areas of northwestern and northeastern Ethiopia (100-200 mm), and over a limited area of eastern Sudan (100-200 mm). Forecast amounts are in the top 1% of rainfall experienced in this location in the past.
Very heavy rainfall is expected in a few areas of northwestern and northeastern Ethiopia (100-200 mm), and eastern and northwestern parts of Sudan (10-30 mm). In some parts of western Sudan (100-200 mm) is expected. Forecast amounts are in the top 5% of rainfall experienced in this location in the past.
Heavy rainfall is forecasted over central parts of Ethiopia (100-200 mm), northwestern South Sudan (100-200 mm) and western parts of Sudan (50-100 mm). Forecast amounts are in the top 10% of rainfall experienced in this location in the past.
