Heavy rainfall observed over Lake Victoria basin of Kenya and Uganda
- Heavy rainfall (200 - 300 mm) observed over Lake Victoria region of Kenya and Uganda
- Moderate rainfall (100 - 200 mm) observed in most parts of central and coastal parts of Kenya, northern coastal and northwestern Tanzania, everywhere in Burundi and Rwanda, south-eastern and north-western Uganda, isolated areas in the south and south-eastern parts of South Sudan
- Light rainfall (50 - 100 mm) observed in central and northern Tanzania, southwestern Ethiopia, southern parts of Somalia, southern parts of South Sudan, and southern parts of Kenya
- Very light rainfall (10 - 50 mm) observed over most parts of northern Kenya, central South Sudan, Karamoja region of Uganda, costal parts of Red Sea in Eritrea, Djibouti, and central Somalia
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) everywhere in southern, central, and northern Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan
Much wetter than usual conditions observed over highlands of western Kenya and southeastern South Sudan
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over highlands of western Kenya, south-eastern Uganda, isolated areas in central Tanzania, south and south-eastern parts of South Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in most parts of central Tanzania, isolated areas in south-western and north-eastern Burundi and Rwanda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of Red sea coast in Sudan, central South Sudan, south-western and central Uganda, western Ethiopia, southern Kenya, southern Somalia, southern Burundi, western and northern Rwanda and Tanzania.
