Rainfall
Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in a few areas in eastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in Burundi, western and southeastern Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was recorded in the central and coastal parts of Eritrea, in parts of southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in western, central, coastal and southern Kenya, and in Rwanda.
Little or No rain conditions not exceeding 10mm was observed in areas of Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, northern Uganda, and northern Kenya.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts Ethiopia, in southern South Sudan, in southern and central Somalia, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in northern, western and central parts of Uganda, in much of northern, central and eastern Kenya, in western Rwanda, and in several parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, western and southern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed northeastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Drier to much drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of Ethiopia, Djibouti, in southern South Sudan, in much of Uganda, Kenya and southern and coastal Somalia, and in northwestern and southern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in northeastern Tanzania.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
