Rainfall
Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in western part of Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall of between 100mm and 200mm was observed in western Ethiopia, in northwestern to southwestern South Sudan, in northern, central to southwestern Uganda, extending to western parts of Kenya, in coastal parts of Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in eastern South Sudan, in northern parts and eastern margins of central Ethiopia, in western and northeastern Uganda, in eastern margins of western Kenya, and parts of coastal Kenya, in southern parts of Somalia, and in much of Rwanda.
Little or No rain conditions not exceeding 10mm was observed in much of the rest of Sudan, Eritrea, in Djibouti, Somalia, in northeastern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in northern, central and eastern Kenya, much of Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed several parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti, and in parts of northern Uganda and southern Burundi.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few areas in southwestern Uganda and northern coast of Kenya.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Drier to much drier than usual conditions were observed in southern, western to eastern parts of Sudan, in eastern and southern parts of South Sudan, in northern, central and eastern Ethiopia, in Burundi, in central and northwestern parts of Kenya, and in northern Somalia.
Wetter than usual condition was observed in a few areas in southwestern Uganda and in northern coast of Kenya.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
