Rainfall

Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in southeastern Uganda, in western and parts of coastal Kenya, and in parts of northern coast of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall of between 100mm and 200mm was observed in western Ethiopia, in western, central and eastern South Sudan in several parts of Uganda, in parts of western, central and coastal Kenya, in southeastern part of Somalia, in parts of western Rwanda, and in parts of eastern and southern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in much of Eritrea, in northern and southeastern South Sudan, in northern, central, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in much of northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in northern and eastern Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, in parts of central and eastern Rwanda, in several part of Burundi, and in northern, western and southern Tanzania
Little or No rain conditions not exceeding 10mm was observed in much of the rest of Sudan, in western and southern Eritrea, in Djibouti, northeastern Somalia, in northwestern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in central Tanzania.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in western, southern and eastern Sudan extending to northern and western South Sudan, in northeastern Somalia, in central parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern Uganda and in western parts of Rwanda.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in western, southern and eastern parts of Tanzania, in southeastern Uganda, in western, north-central and south-central Kenya, in southern and parts of central Somalia, in southern Djibouti, in northeaster Ethiopia and in central Eritrea.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Wetter and much wetter than usual condition was observed in central Eritrea, in northeastern Ethiopia, in southern Djibouti, in parts of southeastern Somalia, in parts of northern, western and south-central Kenya, and in western, southern and eastern Tanzania.
Drier to much drier than usual conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Sudan, in northern and southern parts of South Sudan, in northeastern Somalia, and in isolated parts of central and southern Ethiopia.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
