Rainfall

Drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, northern and central South Sudan and northern and central Somalia, and in parts of eastern and southern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed much of Rwanda and Burundi, in northwestern and northeastern Tanzania, in southwestern and eastern Uganda, in parts of southern South Sudan, in western, northwestern, southern and southeastern Kenya, and in western parts of Ethiopia.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts of northeastern and central Somalia, in parts of north and south Ethiopia, in western parts of South Sudan, in central and south-central parts of Uganda, and in isolated parts of central, northeastern and southern coast of Kenya, and southeastern parts of Tanzania
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in much of Rwanda and Burundi, in northwestern Tanzania, in western, northern and eastern parts of Uganda, in northwestern, south-central and parts of southeastern Kenya, in parts of western Ethiopia, and in western Eritrea.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in parts in much of Rwanda and Burundi, in southeastern Uganda, in western, central and southeastern Kenya, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed several parts of Uganda, in southwestern South Sudan, in southwestern Ethiopia, in southwestern Somalia, in eastern Rwanda, in parts of western, central southern and eastern Kenya, in parts of northeastern and northwestern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the southern parts of South Sudan, in western, central and southern Ethiopia, in central parts of Somalia, in northern parts of Kenya, and in central and southern Tanzania.
No rain conditions were in much of Sudan, in northern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in northeastern, eastern and central parts of Ethiopia, and in northern parts of Somalia.
