Rainfall

Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in parts of western Ethiopia, western and southwestern South Sudan, and in northwestern, western and southeastern Uganda
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in western parts of Ethiopia, in eastern, western, central and southwestern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda and Rwanda, southern parts of Burundi, and in western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the southern parts of Sudan in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northern and southeastern parts of South Sudan, in central, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in northern, central and coastal Kenya, in northeastern, western and eastern Tanzania, and in northern parts of Burundi.
No rain conditions were in northern parts of Sudan, in northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of northeastern and central Somalia, in northwestern, northern, eastern and south-central parts of Kenya, and in central and southern and central parts of Tanzania.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of Somalia, in southeastern parts of Ethiopia, in much of northern, central, eastern and coastal Kenya and in southern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in Djibouti, Eritrea, in southern and southeastern Sudan, in central and southern parts of South Sudan, in northern, northeastern, central and western Ethiopia, in northern western and southern Uganda and in western and southeastern Tanzania.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts of Somalia, in much of northern, central and eastern Kenya, in parts of northwestern Burundi, and in a few places in southern Lake Victoria and southern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in southern and southeastern parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northern, northeastern, central and western Ethiopia, in central western and southern parts of South Sudan, in seral parts of Uganda, in western parts of Tanzania
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
