Rainfall

Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in parts of western Ethiopia, and northwestern and southwestern South Sudan.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in western and northwestern Ethiopia, in in several parts of western northern, and eastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the southern parts of Sudan, in much of Eritrea, Djibouti, Rwanda and Burundi, in northeastern and eastern, and central Ethiopia, in northwestern and southeastern Somalia, in coastal and central Kenya, in eastern parts of South Sudan, in northeastern and south-central Uganda, and in northwestern and northern coast of Tanzania
No rain conditions were in northern parts of Sudan, in coastal parts of Djibouti, in coastal and central Eritrea, in northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern, eastern, central and southern Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in central Sudan, in eastern parts of South Sudan, in central and southern Eritrea, in southeastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in eastern and southeastern Kenya, and in central, eastern and coastal Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in Djibouti, in a few isolated areas in western and eastern Sudan, southwestern South Sudan, in a few areas in western Uganda, eastern and southern Ethiopia, central Kenya and northwestern Tanzania.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts of the region which include, central to southern parts of Sudan, in western and eastern South Sudan, in several parts of western, central northern and southern Ethiopia, in central and southern Eritrea, in much of Somalia, central and southwestern Uganda, in western, eastern and southeastern Kenya, and in eastern and coastal parts of Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in Djibouti, in eastern parts of Sudan, in central and southwestern South Sudan, in western parts of Uganda, and in a few isolated areas in western Kenya and northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
