Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall (over 200 mm) observed in south-western Sudan, north-western and western Ethiopia, western South Sudan, and the western highlands of Kenya.
Moderate rainfall (100 - 200 mm) observed in much of the southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, much of north, central, eastern and south-western South Sudan, much of Uganda, and western parts of Kenya.
Light rainfall (10 - 100 mm) observed over western, central to eastern parts of Sudan, central and coastal Eritrea, north-eastern Ethiopia, south-eastern South Sudan, south-eastern Somalia, much of Djibouti, central and coastal parts of Kenya, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, parts of north-western Tanzania and along the northern coast.
No rainfall conditions (usual during this time of the year) observed in northern parts of Sudan, northern, central, and south-western parts of Somalia, much of northern, southern, and eastern parts of Kenya, and much of the rest of Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions observed in western, central and eastern Sudan, north-western, central, and southern Eritrea, much of Djibouti, south-western and south-eastern Uganda, western parts of Kenya, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, and north-western parts of Tanzania.
