Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall (over 200 mm) observed in south-western Sudan, north-western and western Ethiopia, western South Sudan, and the western highlands of Kenya.
Moderate rainfall (100 - 200 mm) observed in much of the southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, much of north, central, eastern and south-western South Sudan, much of Uganda, and western parts of Kenya.
Light rainfall (10 - 100 mm) observed over western, central to eastern parts of Sudan, central and coastal Eritrea, north-eastern Ethiopia, south-eastern South Sudan, south-eastern Somalia, much of Djibouti, central and coastal parts of Kenya, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, parts of north-western Tanzania and along the northern coast.
No rainfall conditions (usual during this time of the year) observed in northern parts of Sudan, northern, central, and south-western parts of Somalia, much of northern, southern, and eastern parts of Kenya, and much of the rest of Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions observed in western, central and eastern Sudan, north-western, central, and southern Eritrea, much of Djibouti, south-western and south-eastern Uganda, western parts of Kenya, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, and north-western parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over much of the southern parts of Sudan, south-western Eritrea, several parts South Sudan, north-western and central parts of Ethiopia, several parts of Uganda, and parts of central Kenya.
Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in some areas of northern Sudan, southern parts of Somalia, parts of southern Ethiopia, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, north-eastern and parts of coastal Kenya, and in eastern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in western, central to eastern Sudan, north-western, central and southern Eritrea, much of Djibouti, parts of north-eastern Ethiopia, parts of southwest, central and south-eastern Uganda, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, and western parts of Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, south-western Eritrea, parts of north-eastern central and south-western Ethiopia, parts of western and north-eastern South Sudan, parts of north-western and south-central Uganda, parts of north-western and central Kenya, and southern and central Burundi.
