Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was observed in south-western Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in western parts and Lake Victoria regions of Uganda, western parts of Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and north-western and western parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over several parts of central Eritrea, some parts of eastern Djibouti; western, central, and southern Ethiopia; western and southern parts of South Sudan; northern, eastern, central and south-western Uganda; over south-eastern Somalia, several parts of Kenya, and north-eastern Tanzania.
Dry conditions (normal during this time of the year) in most of Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, northern and eastern Ethiopia; northern, central, and south-eastern Somalia; in parts of northern and eastern parts of Kenya.

Wetter than usual conditions observed in south-western part of Tanzania.
Normal rainfall conditions observed over central parts of Somalia, in a few areas in western and south-western South Sudan, in eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, western part of Kenya, and much of western Tanzania.
Moderately drier than normal conditions observed in several parts of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, northern and southern Somalia, much of Kenya, and central, north-eastern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
