Observed rainfall conditions for November 2022
Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in a few isolated areas in south-western Uganda, part of central Kenya, western Rwanda, and north-western Burundi.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in western and southern Uganda, western, central and southern coast of Kenya, much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern, western and northern coast of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over the western and southern part of South Sudan, central and in northern coast of Eritrea, southwestern and southern parts of Ethiopia, southern and central parts of Somalia, north-eastern and central Uganda, northern, eastern southern and coastal parts of Kenya, and in much of eastern, north-eastern, and southern Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in much of Sudan, northern and central parts of South Sudan. In western and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northern, central and eastern Ethiopia, in northern parts of Somalia, in north-western Kenya, and in central and south-eastern parts of Tanzania.

Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions observed in south-central part of South Sudan, north-central and southwestern Uganda, parts of western Kenya, western and central Rwanda, and in a few isolated areas in north-western and western Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over western Eritrea, southern parts of South Sudan, a few isolated areas in western, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, several parts of Uganda, western Kenya, eastern Rwanda, much of Burundi, and in north-western, western and northern coast of Tanzania.
Drier than usual and much drier than usual conditions observed in central and southern parts of Eritrea, much of Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somalia, much of western, central and eastern parts of South Sudan, south-central and north-eastern Uganda, much of Kenya, and in eastern, central and southern Tanzania.

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in south-central part of South Sudan, north-central and south-western Uganda, some parts of western Kenya, western and central parts of Rwanda, and in a few areas in north-western and western Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed much of western, central and eastern parts of South Sudan, central and southern parts of Eritrea, several parts of Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya, and in central and southern parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions much of the rest of the region recorded usual rainfall condition.
