Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in some parts of western Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in western and southwestern Ethiopia, western, northeastern and southwestern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in western Rwanda, in parts of western and central Kenya, and in northwestern part of Burundi.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over the southern parts of Sudan, western and central Eritrea, in the northern and southeastern parts of South Sudan, in the northwestern, central, eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in much of Somalia, in several parts of Kenya, eastern Rwanda, eastern and southern Burundi, and in northwestern, northern and eastern Tanzania
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in northern and central parts of Sudan, in southern Eritrea, in northeastern Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in parts of northern, eastern, and southern Kenya, and in parts of central western and southern Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions observed in a few isolated areas in southeastern South Sudan, in a few areas in western Eritrea, in northeastern and eastern parts of South Sudan, and in western and central parts of Ethiopia.

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in southeastern part of Sudan, in a few areas in western Eritrea, in western parts of Ethiopia, and in northeastern and central parts of South Sudan.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in central and southwestern part of Sudan, in some parts of northwest and southwestern South Sudan, in a areas in northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in northeastern, central and southeastern Somalia, in parts of northwestern, western and southern Uganda, in several parts of northwestern, central, western, eastern and coastal Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.
