Rainfall
Moderate to high rainfall exceeding 300 mm were observed in central parts of Kenya and in parts of southern and coastal Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in western parts of Kennya, in the areas north and east of Lake Victoria, in southern part of Rwanda, in northern part of Burundi, in parts of northwestern Tanzania
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, and South Sudan, in northern and central Somalia, in northern, central, western and eastern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern and southeastern Kenya, and in parts of central and southern Tanzania.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, in parts of northern South Sudan, western Eritrea, northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, and parts of northeastern Somalia.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in parts of central and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern southwestern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of northern to central Kenya, and in parts of western, northern, southern and coastal Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed western Eritrea, in northwestern and western Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in central and western South Sudan, in parts of northwestern and southwestern Uganda, in part of southern Burundi, and in part of eastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in central and southern Eritrea, in parts of central, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern and southern Somalia, in northwestern and eastern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in western and southeastern parts of Kenya, in much of Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in northern, central, eastern and southern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in Djibouti, in parts of northeastern, southwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of northern to central Kenya, and in parts of western, northern southern and southern coast of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in western Eritrea, northeastern Somalia, in western, northern and parts of central Ethiopia, in central and southwestern South Sudan, in much of the western Uganda, in southern parts of Burundi, and in part of eastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
