Rainfall
Heavy rainfall of between 200 - 500 mm was observed in southwestern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in parts of western Kenya, in western part of Rwanda, in northwestern, western, central and southeastern parts of Tanzania
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in northwestern, western and central parts of Kenya, in eastern and central Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in northern and northeastern Tanzania.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, in northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, and in northeastern and eastern parts of Kenya.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in parts of central and southwestern Ethiopia, in northern, central, western and southwestern Uganda, in several parts of northwestern, western and central Kenya, and in western and southwestern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in eastern parts of Ethiopia, in eastern and coastal Kenya, in southeastern Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in parts of northeast Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern Eritrea, in parts of northern Ethiopia, southcentral Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, western Rwanda, and in parts of northwestern, central and southeastern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in northern South Sudan, in western and central Eritrea, in much of Somalia, and in northwestern and eastern parts of Ethiopia.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in northern, central, eastern and southeastern Uganda, in central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in northwestern, central and western parts of Kenya, and in western and southwestern Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in parts of eastern and coastal Kenya, in much of Burundi, and in parts of northeastern Tanzania
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
