Rainfall

Moderate rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was observed in western Ethiopia, in parts of western and southeastern South Sudan, in western parts of Kenya.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in parts of central Ethiopia, in several parts of northern, central eastern and western Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the much of the southern parts of Sudan, in western and southern part of Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northern and northeastern Ethiopia, in northwestern and southeastern Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in coastal parts of Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Dry conditions were in northern and central parts of Sudan, in coastal and central Eritrea, in northeastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in central, southwestern and northeastern Somalia, in northern, central and southern Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.

Drier than usual conditions observed in central parts of Sudan, in coastal and central parts of Eritrea, in northern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern southern parts of Somalia, in southeastern and coastal parts of Kenya, and in eastern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in parts of Djibouti, in western Ethiopia, in eastern parts of Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, in several parts of Burundi, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in western, central and northeastern Ethiopia, in northwestern Somalia, in several parts of South Sudan and Uganda, and in much of Rwanda.

Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in central and south-central parts of Sudan, in central Eritrea, in northern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in parts of eastern and coastal Kenya and in parts of eastern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few areas southwestern Sudan, in western Ethiopia, in parts of Djibouti, in several parts of central, eastern, western and southern South Sudan, in northern and eastern parts of Uganda, in western Kenya, in Burundi, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
