- Wetter than usual conditions observed in western Kenya, isolated areas in south-western, north-eastern Uganda, eastern-South Sudan, and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of South Sudan, southern parts of Sudan, south and northern-western Ethiopia, central and southern Uganda, most parts of Rwanda, and Lake Victoria region of Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of south-eastern Sudan, most parts of Eritrea, north-eastern Ethiopia, north Somalia; north-eastern, south-eastern and costal parts of Kenya; south-western Somalia, and most parts of central and western Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over isolated areas of north-eastern and costal parts of Kenya.
- Heavy rainfall (200 - 300 mm) observed over isolated areas in south-western South Sudan, northern Uganda, and western Kenya.
- Moderate rainfall (100 - 200 mm) observed in most parts of northern Rwanda, most parts of Uganda, south-western and eastern South Sudan, and western Ethiopia.
- Light rainfall (50 - 100 mm) observed in costal parts and Lake Region of Tanzania, central Somalia, south-eastern Ethiopia, central and northern South Sudan, and south Khardofan region of Sudan.
- Very light rainfall (10 - 50 mm) observed over most parts of Tanzania, southern and south-eastern Kenya, central and north-eastern Ethiopia, and northern Somalia.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of central and northern Sudan, most parts of Eritrea, and north-eastern Kenya.
