Rainfall

- Very Heavy rainfall (above 300 mm) observed in sporadic parts of highlands of central and northern Ethiopia.
- Heavy rainfall (200 - 300 mm) observed over southern and northern parts of western-South Sudan, most parts of central and northern Ethiopia and isolated areas in western Kenya.
- Moderate rainfall (100 - 200 mm) observed in most parts of South Sudan, south western and eastern Sudan, central and northern parts of Uganda, western Kenya.
- Light rainfall (50 - 100 mm) observed in most parts of southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Rwanda and northern Burundi, Lake Victoria region of Tanzania.
- Very light rainfall (10 - 50 mm) observed over central and eastern Sudan, north-western Eritrea, north-eastern Ethiopia, everywhere in Djibouti, southern and northern Somalia, coastal parts of Kenya and north-western Tanzania.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of northern Sudan, northeastern, central and southern Kenya and central Somalia.

- Much wetter than usual conditions observed in western Sudan and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in sporadic parts of Sudan, central and eastern Ethiopia, south-eastern South Sudan, northern Somalia, and western Kenya Karamoja region of Uganda and the lake side of Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of central and southern Sudan; most parts of southern, central and northern of South Sudan; central Ethiopia; and most parts of Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in costal parts of Kenya, isolated areas in northern Ethiopia, and central Eritrea.

- Severely wet conditions observed in sporadic western and eastern Sudan, south-eastern South Sudan, north-eastern and central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, western Kenya, Karamoja region of Uganda, and lake region of Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of central and southern Sudan; most parts of southern, central and northern of South Sudan; central Ethiopia; and most parts of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
