Rainfall
Very heavy exceeding 100 mm observed in south-western part of Tanzania.
Heavy rainfall between 500 - 1000 mm observed over much western, central and southern Tanzania and also in western Kenya.
Moderate rainfall between 200 - 500 mm observed in much of the southern parts of Uganda, in Rwanda, Burundi, and in the northern and north-eastern parts of Tanzania.
Light Rainfall between 10 - 200 mm observed over southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Ethiopia except for the northern and eastern parts, in much of Eritrea, Djibouti, central and southern Somalia, and over much of the rest of Kenya.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) observed in most parts of Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, western Eritrea, parts of Djibouti, in north and south-eastern Somalia, and northern and eastern parts of Ethiopia.
Wetter than normal to much wetter than normal conditions observed in much of Tanzania, western Kenya, and eastern parts of the Lake Victoria region of Uganda.
Normal rainfall conditions observed in parts of north-western and eastern Ethiopia, western and south-western parts of South Sudan, parts of central and southern Somalia, over much of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and in northern and north-eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions observed in much of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, northern and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of Ethiopia, and in much of Kenya.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions observed in much of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, northern and central Somalia; northern, north-eastern, western, central and south-western parts of Ethiopia; in several parts of north, central and south-eastern Kenya; and in a few isolated places in southern Burundi.
