Rainfall Totals
- Heavy rainfall exceeding 1000 mm was observed over isolated areas in western Ethiopia.
- Moderate rainfall between 500 - 1000 mm was observed southern parts of Sudan, much of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, in isolated parts of north-western Uganda and south-eastern Uganda, and in the western highlands of Kenya.
- Light rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was observed much of central to southern parts of Sudan, south-eastern South Sudan, western Eritrea, central to north-eastern parts of Ethiopia, over much of Uganda, western Rwanda, and parts of western Kenya.
- Rainfall between 10 - 200 mm was observed over central parts of Sudan, coastal Eritrea, eastern Djibouti, in north and southern parts of Somalia, over much of Burundi, north-western and eastern Tanzania, and in the coastal parts of Kenya.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) were observed in northern parts of Sudan, north-eastern and central parts of Somalia, southern Ethiopia, north and eastern Kenya, and central and western Tanzania.

- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in central to western Sudan, in Djibouti, north-eastern Ethiopia and isolated parts of northern Somalia.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in several parts of western and southern Sudan, Eritrea, South Sudan, Uganda, much of Ethiopia, northern Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, and western and southern parts of Kenya.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed in northern parts of Sudan, southern parts of Ethiopia, over several parts of central and southern Somalia, in north-eastern parts of Uganda, western and central parts of Tanzania, and in much of northern and eastern Kenya.

- Moderate to severely wetter than usual rainfall conditions were observed in central and western parts of Sudan, several parts of Djibouti, isolated parts in north and western Ethiopia, and parts of northern Somalia.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in western and southern Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in parts of central Ethiopia and northern Somalia, in western and central parts of Kenya, in isolated parts in south-western and eastern Uganda, in north-western Tanzania, and in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi.
- Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were observed in northern parts of Sudan, in a few isolated parts of South Sudan, in southern parts of Ethiopia extending to much of central and southern Sudan, northern and eastern Kenya, in several parts of Uganda, and in several parts of central and western Tanzania.
