Rainfall
Heavy rainfall between 100-200mm was observed in a few isolated areas in northwestern Eritrea, in part of southwestern Sudan, and in a few isolated areas in northern Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in southwestern and south-central Sudan, in part of western Eritrea, in northern, central and western parts of Ethiopia, in northern and western parts of South Sudan, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in parts western, southern and southeastern Sudan, in central, southwestern, and northeastern South Sudan, in parts of southwestern and central Ethiopia, in northern and parts of eastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in central and eastern parts of Sudan, central Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern, and southern and eastern margins of central Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, is several parts of Rwanda, in parts of western, central and coastal Kenya, and in parts of southern Somalia.
Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed northern parts of Sudan, in coastal Djibouti, in northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in eastern and southern Ethiopia, in northern, eastern and southern Kenya, and in much of Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in western, central and eastern parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in several parts of Rwanda, in northeastern part of Ethiopia, in northwestern Tanzania, and in part of northeast and western South Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in parts of central and northeastern Ethiopia, in several parts of northern, central and western South Sudan, in parts of southwestern Uganda, and in parts of western, central and southern coast of Kenya.
Drier and much drier than usual conditions were observed over parts of south-central and southeastern Sudan, southern parts of South Sudan, in several part of western Ethiopia, over much of Uganda, in northwestern and northern coast of Kenya, in southern parts of Somalia in parts of western Rwanda, and in coastal parts of Tanzania.
Moderately to extremely wet conditions were observed in western, central and eastern Sudan extending to western and central Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, in parts of northeastern and western South Sudan, in parts of western Kenya highland, in parts of Rwanda, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed over southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in southern, and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and central parts of Somalia, in parts of northeastern and southern Uganda, in several parts of Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania,
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in southeastern Sudan, in northwestern, western and central Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, and in parts of southern Somalia.
