Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in parts of western and eastern Kenya, in northwestern Tanzania, and in much of Burundi.
Moderate rainfall between 26 - 50 mm was observed in western, southwestern and central parts of Uganda, in parts of western and eastern Kenya, in much of Rwanda, and in parts of northwestern and western Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the southern parts of South Sudan, in southwestern part of Ethiopia, in northern and eastern Uganda, in several parts of western, central and eastern Kenya, in southern and coastal parts of southern Somalia, and in northern, central, and southern Tanzania
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, in much of Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in much of northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in northern and northwestern parts of Kenya, and in eastern Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in much of the northern, western, central and eastern Uganda, in western and northeastern Kenya, in southeastern Somalia, in eastern and central parts of Rwanda, in eastern and western Burundi, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in parts of the southern areas of South Sudan, *in southern parts of Uganda, in parts of central and eastern Kenya, extending to southern Somalia, in western Rwanda, central Burundi, and in western parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northern and central South Sudan, in several parts of northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in parts of northern, central and eastern Ethiopia, in northwestern Kenya, and in parts of eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed over central and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in several parts of northern, central and southern Ethiopia, in southwestern Somalia, in several parts of northern, coastal, central and southern Kenya, in southwestern part of Uganda, and in much of northern, central, western, eastern and southern Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of the southern area of South Sudan, in northwestern, western, central and eastern Uganda, in parts of western and northeastern Kenya, in central and eastern Rwanda, in western and eastern Burundi, in southeastern Somalia, and in northeastern Tanzania.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in the central and southwestern Ethiopia, in a few isolated areas in southwestern Uganda and central and coastal Kenya, and in much of central, western and eastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region including Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, South Sudan, north, southwestern and central Somalia, northwestern and southern Uganda, in western Rwanda, central Burundi, in several parts of Kenya, and in parts of north, central, and southwestern Tanzania.
