Rainfall
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in much of South Sudan, the western, northern and central Ethiopia, in western Eritrea, in northern eastern and southeastern Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in parts of central and eastern Sudan, in northwestern Eritrea, in northeastern margins of central Ethiopia, in southern Somalia, in northwestern and central parts of Uganda, and in central and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern and central parts of Sudan, in coastal and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in eastern and southern Ethiopia, in northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in northern, eastern and southern parts of Kenya, in western and southwestern Uganda, and in much of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in western parts of Sudan, in southeastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in central and south-central parts of Sudan, in central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of north-central, central and southern parts of South Sudan, in much of western, central and southwestern Uganda, in central and costal parts of Kenya, and in parts of southern Somalia.
Usual rainfall conditions were in observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western and central Eritrea, in northern and western Ethiopia, and in much of western, central, northeastern and eastern South Sudan.
No rainfall conditions were observed in the northern and central parts of Sudan, in southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of central Somali, in northern, eastern and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in southwestern and southeastern parts of Sudan, in southeastern Uganda, and in parts of western of Kenya.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in central and south-central Sudan, in southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in parts of northern and central Ethiopia, in severl parts of South Sudan, in part of central Somalia, in western and southwestern Uganda, and in parts of central Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
