Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in northwestern and western Ethiopia, and western and northwestern South Sudan.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in southwestern, south-central and south eastern parts of Sudan, eastern margins of western Ethiopia, in northeastern and eastern parts of South Sudan, and in western Kenya.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in much of eastern, central and southern parts of South Sudan, in central parts of Ethiopia, in much of north, central and eastern parts of Uganda, in parts of western, central and coastal Kenya, in southeastern Somalia, and in northern coast of Tanzania.
Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed much of central and northern Sudan, in Eritrea and Djibouti, in northeastern, eastern, and southern Ethiopia, northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in much of northern, eastern and central Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, in Rwanda and Burundi, and in much of the rest of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southwestern Sudan, and northwestern South Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in a few isolated areas in northeast, northwest, and eastern South Sudan, in northwest and central parts of Ethiopia, and in a few isolated areas in western Kenya and coastal Tanzania.
Drier and much drier than usual conditions were observed over western and central Eritrea, in much of the northwestern, central, southern and eastern South Sudan, in northeastern and southwestern Ethiopia, northwestern, and southern Somalia, over much of Uganda, Burundi, western and northern Rwanda, in much of western, central and coastal Kenya, and in northwestern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in northern and central parts of Kenya, southern Eritrea, Djibouti, northeastern and southeastern Ethiopia, northeastern and central Somalia, in much of the northern and eastern parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, and much of western, central and southern Tanzania.
Moderately to extremely wet conditions were observed in southwestern Sudan, and northwestern South Sudan
