Rainfall
Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 200 mm observed in southern parts of Tanzania, north-western Burundi, and in isolated parts of western Ethiopia.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in a few isolated areas in western and central Ethiopia, western South Sudan, western Uganda, south-eastern Tanzania, and in several parts of Rwanda.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed in western Eritrea; over western, central and southern Ethiopia; over much of western, central and eastern South Sudan; western, central and southern Uganda; eastern Burundi; western, central and coastal Kenya; and much of western, northern and eastern Tanzania.
Normal dry (normally dry in this time of season) observed everywhere in Sudan, in much of central and southern Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, northern and eastern Ethiopia, northern and south-eastern South Sudan, north-eastern Uganda, northern and eastern Kenya, and in central and western parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than normal conditions observed in southern parts of Tanzania, and in a few places in western Ethiopia and north-western South Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions observed in a few parts of western Ethiopia, north-eastern and north-western South Sudan, and north-western Burundi.
Drier than normal conditions observed over much of Eritrea, Djibouti, much of the rest of Ethiopia, north-central and southern South Sudan, over much of western and central Uganda, north and central Somalia, Rwanda, and eastern and southern Burundi.
Much drier than normal conditions observed in north-eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in much of eastern Uganda, in much of Kenya, southern Somalia, and much of northern to central parts of Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wetter than normal conditions observed in a few areas in the southern part of Tanzania, western Ethiopia, and north-western South Sudan.
