Rainfall
- Heavy to Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in northern and north-western parts of South Sudan and the highlands of central and northern Ethiopia.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in the central Equatoria region of South Sudan, most parts of the White Nile state and central parts of Sudan.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the highlands of western and coastal parts of Kenya, southern Somalia, eastern and northern Uganda, eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Ethiopia, southern Eritrea, and northern parts of Sudan.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over northern Somali, Somali region of Ethiopia, north-eastern Kenya, south-western Uganda, everywhere in Rwanda, Burundi, and most parts of Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed over most parts of western, central and northern parts of Sudan, and localized areas in north-eastern and southern Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions are observed in most parts of South Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and southern Somalia.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed over eastern Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, central Ethiopia, most parts of central and highlands of Kenya, and eastern and northern Uganda.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed in eastern parts of Sudan, north-western Ethiopia, most parts of South Sudan, central and northern Uganda including the Lake Victoria basins.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed over western, eastern and northern parts of Sudan, and localized parts in north-eastern and southern Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over the White Nile parts of Sudan, and northern parts of South Sudan.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over eastern Sudan, most parts of South Sudan, north-western Ethiopia, central and northern Uganda, costal parts of Kenya, and Tanzania.
