Rainfall
- Moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in southwest parts of South Sudan, southwestern part of Ethiopia, isolated part in White Nile and the Blue Nile in Sudan.
- Light rainfall (between 25 - 50 mm) observed in south-western and southern parts of Sudan, central, northern parts of South Sudan.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed over highlands of western and coastal parts of Kenya and Tanzania, most parts of Uganda, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, central Ethiopia.
- Dry conditions (usually dry this time of season) observed over much of western and central Tanzania, north-eastern Rwanda, over much of central and northern Somalia, several parts of north and eastern Kenya, south-western Uganda, Djibouti, most parts of Eritrea, north-eastern and eastern parts of Ethiopia and in most central and northern parts of Sudan.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over isolated in White Nile and Aljazeera regions of Sudan and western Bahr El gazal part of South Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed over the southern part and Blue Nile of Sudan and central parts of South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in south-western and northern parts of South Sudan, strip on the borders of Sudan and Ethiopia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over northern Tanzania, highlands of western and coastal parts of Kenya, most parts of Uganda, south-eastern South Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia, southern parts of Somalia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed in Bibor of South Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed over the southern part and Blue Nile of Sudan and central parts of South Sudan.
