Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall (between 101 - 200 mm) observed in southern Tanzania.
- Heavy to moderate rainfall (between 51 - 100 mm) observed in western Burundi, and south-western and southern Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between (26 - 50 mm) observed in most parts of Burundi, Rwanda, north-western and northern Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed in central and south-western Ethiopia, most of south-western Uganda, central and south-western Kenya, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Normal dry conditions (usually dry this time of year) observed in all of Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, several parts of northern and eastern Ethiopia, north-eastern Uganda, and northern and eastern parts of Kenya.
- Much Wetter than normal conditions observed over south-western South Sudan, and isolated parts of Ethiopia.
- Wetter than normal conditions observed over isolated parts of Tanzania.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in most of Rwanda, northern Burundi, parts of central Ethiopia, and isolated parts of northern, southern and south-western Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions observed over most parts of Ethiopia, everywhere in Kenya, most parts of Uganda, south-eastern South Sudan, southern Burundi, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Much drier than normal conditions observed in isolated parts of southern and north-eastern Ethiopia, eastern and central Uganda, highlands of western Kenya, and costal and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely wetter than normal conditions observed in south-western parts of South Sudan, and isolated parts in western Ethiopia.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in southern parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, south-eastern and north-western Ethiopia, central South Sudan, north-eastern Rwanda, and central and northern Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely drier than normal conditions observed in southern parts of South Sudan, south-western and north-eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Uganda and Kenya, southern and north-eastern Burundi, western Rwanda, and most parts of western and north-eastern Tanzania.
