Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in highlands of western Ethiopia.
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in most parts of south-western and south-eastern South Sudan, most parts of the highlands of north-western and south-western of Ethiopia, most parts of central Uganda, and the highlands of western Kenya.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in eastern border of Sudan with Ethiopia, central Ethiopia; southern, central and northern parts of South Sudan; southern Uganda, and everywhere in Rwanda and Burundi.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed over most parts of costal and north-western Tanzania; central, northern and costal parts of Kenya; most parts of Somalia; southern, south-eastern and northern Ethiopia; and most parts of Djibouti and Eritrea.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed in northern and central Sudan, Turkanan region of Kenya, central Somalia, and southern and central Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern Sudan, southern parts of Eritrea, everywhere in Djibouti, northern Somalia, central and north-eastern Djibouti, south-eastern South Sudan, Turkana region, northern parts of the rift valley in Kenya, and isolated parts in northern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Burundi, central Uganda, highlands of western Kenya, north-western Ethiopia, and isolated parts in northern and western Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over most parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, south-eastern Sudan, isolated parts in north-western Eritrea, northern and south-western Uganda, central Kenya, everywhere in Rwanda and northern Burundi and north-western Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed over sporadic parts in north-western Tanzania, north-eastern and costal parts of Kenya, southern and central Somalia, north-western South Sudan, and southern parts of Sudan.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, north-western South Sudan and central Somalia.
- Moderate to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern Sudan, southern parts of Eritrea, everywhere in Djibouti, northern Somalia, central and north-eastern Djibouti, south-eastern South Sudan, Turkana region, northern parts of the rift valley of Kenya, and isolated parts in northern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over most parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, south-eastern Sudan, isolated parts in north-western Eritrea, northern and south-western Uganda, central Kenya, everywhere in Rwanda and northern Burundi, and north-western Tanzania.
- Moderate to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over north-western South Sudan, southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern and costal parts of Kenya, southern and central Somalia, and sporadic parts in north-western Tanzania.
