Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in highlands of central and northern Ethiopia.
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in highlands of central and northern Ethiopia, most parts of South Sudan, and northern Uganda.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, most parts of southern and central Uganda, highlands of western Kenya, and most parts of Rwanda and northern Burundi.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in north-eastern Ethiopia, costal parts of Kenya, and southern and central Burundi.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over most parts of Tanzania, southern and northern parts of Kenya, south-eastern Ethiopia, and most parts of Somalia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in northern Sudan, north-eastern Ethiopia, eastern parts of South Sudan, and southern and central Rwanda.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in south-eastern and central parts of South Sudan, sporadic parts in Sudan, western and eastern Ethiopia, and most parts of Eritrea and Djibouti.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of southern and central Uganda, western and northern South Sudan, costal and Highlands of central Kenya, and sporadic parts in central and northern Ethiopia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed over south-western Uganda, southern and northern Somalia, isolated parts in northern and south-eastern Ethiopia, and southern Burundi.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed in sporadic parts in southern and northern Sudan, southern and eastern parts of South Sudan, western and eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, isolated parts in northern Burundi, and southern and central Rwanda.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of the southern and eastern parts of Sudan, south-western and north-eastern South Sudan, most parts of south-western and central Uganda, costal and highlands of western Kenya, much parts of southern and northern Ethiopia, and southern and central Burundi.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over western Uganda, isolated parts in South Sudan, southern and northern Somalia, and isolated parts in northern and south-eastern Ethiopia.
