Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in part of western South Sudan, and western Ethiopia.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in western and eastern parts of South Sudan, in western parts of Ethiopia, southeastern Uganda, western and northern coast of Kenya, parts of western Rwanda, and in parts of norther coast of Tanzania.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in northern, central and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northwestern, central and southern parts of South Sudan, over western, southern and eastern Uganda, in central and parts of western and coastal Kenya, in southeastern Somalia, western Burundi, and in northern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over much of Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in southeast South Sudan, central and northern Uganda, over much of north and eastern Kenya, eastern Rwanda, eastern Burundi, and over much of northwestern, western, central and southern Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in parts of southwest and southeast Sudan, and in northeastern part of South Sudan
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in central and northern parts of Sudan, over southern Eritrea, much of Djibouti, much of northwestern and northeastern South Sudan, in parts of northern and eastern Kenya, and in central parts of Tanzania.
Drier than to much drier than usual conditions were observed over a western and central Eritrea, some areas in southern parts of Sudan, central and southern parts of South Sudan, and over much of Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania.
Moderately wet conditions were observed in southwestern and southeastern parts of Sunda, and northeastern parts of South Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed over southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, northern parts of South Sudan, northern and western parts of Ethiopia, northeastern and eastern Kenya, southwestern Somalia, as well as western, central and northeastern Tanzania.
Moderately to extremely dry conditions were observed in south-central and eastern parts of Sudan, central and southern Eritrea, over much of Ethiopia, northern and central parts of Somalia, in much of the southern part of South Sudan, most of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, western, central, coastal and southeastern parts of Kenya, and in northwestern, central and eastern Tanzania.
