Rainfall
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in south-eastern and north-western Tanzania, most parts of Burundi, Rwanda, highland of south-western Ethiopia, lake Victoria basin sides of Kenya, and Uganda.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in south-western parts of South Sudan, central Uganda, southern Somali, and northern Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed over central Tanzania, most parts of central and northern Kenya, eastern and northern parts of Ethiopia, central Somalia, and most parts of southern and central parts of South Sudan.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, north-western parts of South Sudan, Djibouti, northern Somalia, and western Eritrea.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed in isolated parts of highland of central and northern Ethiopia, north-eastern Burundi and Rwanda, and western and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over southern Uganda, south-western and north-western Ethiopia, northern Eritrea, and central Somalia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of south Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, northern Uganda, central and northern Somalia, most parts of central and southern Kenya, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over central, Turkana and Marsabit sub-counties of Kenya, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, and sporadic parts of southern and eastern Ethiopia.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed in isolated parts of central and northern Ethiopia, north-eastern Kenya , north-eastern Rwanda and Burundi, and western and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of Burundi, Kenya, south and south-eastern parts of South Sudan, and western and southern Ethiopia.
- Moderately drier to severely drier than usual conditions observed over most parts of eastern Ethiopia, most parts of South Sudan, northern Somalia, everywhere in Djibouti, central and northern Kenya, central and northern Uganda, and north-eastern Tanzania.
