Rainfall
Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 200 mm was observed in southwestern Ethiopia, western and southwestern Uganda, in much of Rwanda, western and central parts of Kenya, and in eastern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in several parts of South Sudan, in central and southeastern Ethiopia, southern Somalia, in much of central and eastern Uganda, several parts of western and central Kenya, Burundi, and in parts of northwestern and northeastern Tanzania.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in western Eritrea, northern parts of South Sudan, northwest and southeastern parts of Ethiopia, central Somalia, northern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in western and central parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed everywhere in Sudan, in much of central and southern Eritrea, Djibouti, northern Somalia, eastern part of Kenya and in central part of Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in northwest, and in eastern parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, southwest Uganda, northeast Rwanda, and in eastern and coastal Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in a western Eritrea, southwest an southern parts of Ethiopia, western and southcentral Uganda, much of western and central Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in some parts of northern and eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed over southern Eritrea, central and eastern parts of Ethiopia, much of Somalia, isolated parts of southwestern and western South Sudan, in several parts of western, central and eastern Kenya, in a few isolated parts in Burundi, and in western Tanzania.
Much drier than usual conditions were observed in northeastern part of Ethiopia, in Djibouti, northeastern Kenya, and in parts of western Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions was observed in northwest and northeastern parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, southwestern Uganda, northeast Rwanda, in eastern and coastal parts of Tanzania, and in isolated parts of northern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of Sudan, western Eritrea, central and southeastern Somalia, central and southern Ethiopia, western and southern parts of South Sudan, in parts of northeast and northwest Uganda, much of northwestern, central and southern Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and over much of northern, central, and southwestern Tanzania
