Heavy rainfall between 100-200mm was observed in some part in northern Ethiopia, in a few areas in northwest South Sudan, and in part of western Kenya highlands.

Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in western and southern part of Sudan, in part of western Eritrea, in northern, central and western parts of Ethiopia, in northern and western parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya.

Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in central and southeastern Sudan, in northeastern, central and southern parts of South Sudan, in southwestern part and southern and eastern part of central Ethiopia, in western and southern part of Uganda, and in northwestern Rwanda.

Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in central and eastern parts of Sudan, central Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of southeastern Somalia, in coastal Kenya, in southern and eastern Rwanda, and in northern coast of Tanzania.

Usual dry rainfall was observed northern parts of Sudan, in southern and coastal parts of Eritrea, in coastal Djibouti, in several parts of Somalia, in eastern and southern Ethiopia, in northern, eastern, central and southern Kenya, and in much of Burundi and Tanzania.

Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in western, central and eastern parts of Sudan, in western part of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northwestern part of South Sudan, in northeastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, in much of Rwanda, and in northeastern part of Tanzania.

Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in parts of central and northeastern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern, western, southern and southeastern South Sudan, in parts of northeastern, western, and south-central Uganda, and in parts of central and southern coast of Kenya.

Drier than usual conditions were observed over south-central and southeastern part of Sudan, in northeastern and central parts of South Sudan, in western, southwestern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern and southern parts of Somalia, in northern coast of Kenya and in coastal parts of Tanzania

Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in western, central and eastern Sudan, in pars of western Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, in northwestern parts of South Sudan, in northwest, central, southwest, and southeastern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda and in western Kenya.

Usual rainfall conditions were observed over southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in parts of northwestern, and southern South Sudan, in parts of north and western Uganda in parts of southeastern Somalia, central parts of Kenya,
