Rainfall
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 200 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, in northern, and western parts of South Sudan, in northern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, and in a few parts in western Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the central to eastern parts of Sudan, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia and in southern and eastern margins of western and central Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, and in western and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern parts of Sudan, in the coastal, central and southern parts of Eritrea, northern parts of Djibouti, in much of Somalia, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern parts of Uganda, in northern, eastern, central and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few places in western and eastern Sudan.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in central parts of Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in in several areas of central and southern parts of South Sudan, in northeastern, central and southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in western and central, and coastal parts of Kenya, in southern Somalia and in parts of Rwanda.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western and northwestern Ethiopia, in northern parts of South Sudan, and in western Eritrea.
No rainfall conditions were observed in the northern parts of Sudan, in coastal Djibouti, in several parts of Somalia in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and southern parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, and in much of Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in a few places in western and eastern parts of Sudan, in parts of western Eritrea, and in parts of northern coast of Kenya.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Rwanda, and in western and central parts of Kenya
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
