Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 51-200 mm was observed in several parts of western, central, eastern and southern Tanzania, and in some parts of western Kenya.
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 50 mm was observed in parts of western and central Kenya, southwestern Rwanda, in much of Burundi, and in northern parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in parts of southwestern and northern Ethiopia, in southern Uganda, in parts of western, central and southeastern Kenya, and in central and eastern Rwanda.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in much of Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, South Sudan, northern and central Uganda, in northern and eastern Kenya.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in several parts of western, central, southern and eastern Kenya, and in much of eastern Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in western, southwestern and central parts of Uganda, and in western parts of Burundi.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in several parts of western, central, southern and eastern Kenya, and in much of eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in northeastern, central and southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of western, central and southern Uganda, and in parts of western Rwanda.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in several parts of Rwanda, in eastern Burundi and in much of the western parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, western Eritrea, in western, northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, northern Uganda, and in much of northern Kenya.
