Rainfall
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 200 mm observed in south-western parts of Tanzania and in isolated parts of central Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in isolated parts of the Ethiopia highlands, in south and central parts of Uganda, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of north-western, central, and western Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed in south-western and much of the highlands of Ethiopia, western and southern parts of South Sudan, in much of central and southern Uganda, western parts of Kenya, and in north-east and isolated parts of north-west Tanzania.
- Normal dry conditions (usually dry in this time of season) observed everywhere in Sudan, in much north and central parts of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia; several parts of north, eastern and southern Ethiopia; north-eastern Uganda, and much of north, central, and eastern Kenya.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in western parts of South Sudan, in isolated parts of central Tanzania and over south-western Tanzania, and in a few isolated parts of north-west Ethiopia.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in a few parts of central Ethiopia, much of Rwanda, in northern Burundi, south-central Uganda, and in western and central Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions observed over much of Eritrea, western Djibouti, much of the rest of Ethiopia, in central and southern South Sudan, over much of Uganda; much of western, central, and eastern Kenya; south-western Somalia, and in northern and eastern margins of Tanzania.
- Much drier than normal conditions observed in north-eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern parts of Uganda, in much of eastern and south-western Kenya, isolated parts of western Kenya, and eastern Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions observed in western South Sudan, isolated parts of north-west Ethiopia, and in south-western parts of Tanzania and isolated parts of central Tanzania.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed over several parts of Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti, much of western central and eastern Ethiopia, south-central Uganda, north-west and eastern Kenya, much of Rwanda, northern Burundi, and in much of western central and south-central Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in south-west and north-eastern Ethiopia, in much of Uganda, in several parts of Kenya, and in north-west and eastern Tanzania.
