Rainfall

Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in Rwanda, western and southern Burundi, and in western southern and coastal parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in western and southeastern South Sudan, in central parts of Eritrea, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern Uganda, in western central southern and coastal parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, in northeastern Burundi, and in several parts of northern and central Tanzania.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in much of Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, central and southern South Sudan, in northeastern, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern, central and eastern parts of Uganda, and in several parts of northern, central and eastern Kenya.

Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in southern and central parts of South Sudan, northeastern and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in much of Uganda, in western Kenya, in parts of southern Rwanda, and in several parts of Burundi and Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions and no rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.

Drier than usual and much drier that usual conditions were observed in several parts of Ethiopia, in southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in southern Somalia, in central and southern parts of South Sudan, in much of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, I southern parts of Rwanda, and in several parts of Burundi.
Near Normal and no rainfall conditions were observed in of the rest of the region including Sudan, eastern and northwestern Ethiopia, western Eritrea, northern South Sudan, and in much of Somalia.
