Rainfall
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in most parts of western South Sudan.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, central South Sudan, highlands of southern, western and northern Ethiopia, highlands of western Kenya; southern, western and north-western Uganda; southern and western Rwanda, most parts of Burundi, and Lake Victoria basin side of Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia, north-eastern Sudan, north-eastern Uganda, most parts of central Kenya, and northern Tanzania.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over most parts of central and northern Sudan, Turkana region of Kenya, most parts of Somalia, and southern and central parts of Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern and south-western Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and isolated parts in central Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in scattered parts in western South Sudan and central Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of the central and western Kenya; southern, western and north-western Uganda; isolated parts in central Ethiopia, isolated parts in northern Tanzania, south-eastern Rwanda, and most parts of Burundi.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed over most parts of Ethiopia, southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern and south-eastern parts of South Sudan, northern Somalia, south-western and northern Uganda, northern and costal parts of Kenya, north-eastern Rwanda, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed over western and central Somalia.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern and south-western Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and isolated parts in central Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over most parts of Kenya, southern and central Ethiopia, western and north-western Uganda, isolated parts in eastern and northern Tanzania, south-eastern Rwanda, and most parts of Burundi.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over most parts of southern and south-eastern Ethiopia, White Nile state in Sudan, north-eastern and south-eastern parts of South Sudan, northern and central Somalia; south-western, central and northern Uganda; northern and costal parts of Kenya, north-eastern Rwanda, and north-eastern Tanzania.
