Rainfall
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in most parts of southern Rwanda, western and southern Tanzania, and everywhere in Burundi.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in central and northern Tanzania, central and northern Rwanda, southern Uganda, western Kenya, and isolated areas in the highland of central Ethiopia.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed over central Uganda, north-eastern Tanzania, and central Ethiopia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, most parts of north-western Eritrea, south-eastern Ethiopia, and most parts of northern, eastern and costal parts of Kenya.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over south-western and southern Uganda, and south-western Kenya.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in western Tanzania, parts of central Kenya, and Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of southern, central and northern Tanzania, north-eastern Burundi, Rwanda, and south-western parts of South Sudan.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of southern and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed over most parts of central and north-western Tanzania, southern parts of Kenya, most parts of south-western Burundi, and southern and eastern Rwanda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of Ethiopia, south-western parts of South Sudan, northern Uganda, and central and northern Tanzania.
- Moderately drier to severely drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of southern Tanzania.
