Rainfall
- Heavy to moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in western parts of Kenya, eastern Burundi, and in central, south-western, and southern Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between (25 - 50 mm) observed in south-western Ethiopia, south-eastern Uganda, south-western and southern-central parts of Kenya, most of Rwanda, western Burundi, and parts of northern, western, and eastern Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed in central and south-western Ethiopia, most of western and central Uganda, central and south-eastern Kenya, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Normal dry conditions (usually dry this time of year) observed in all of Sudan, most of South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, several parts of northern and eastern Ethiopia, north-eastern Uganda, and northern and eastern parts of Kenya
- Wetter than normal conditions observed over most of Tanzania, central and eastern Rwanda, eastern Burundi, most of southern Kenya, south-eastern Uganda, and south-western Ethiopia.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in most of western Uganda, western Burundi, parts of central Ethiopia, and in isolated parts of north-western and coastal Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions observed over central and southern parts of Ethiopia, southern parts of South Sudan, south-western and north-eastern Uganda, north-western Rwanda, and north-western Kenya.
- Much drier than normal conditions observed in isolated parts of southern Ethiopia.
- Moderately to severely wetter than normal conditions observed in most of Tanzania, eastern Rwanda, north-eastern Burundi, central and south-eastern Uganda, western and southern Kenya, and in south-western Ethiopia.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, north, most of Uganda, northern and central Kenya, western and southern Burundi, and in isolated parts of north-western and coastal Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely drier than normal conditions observed in western parts of South Sudan, south-western Uganda extending to north-western Rwanda, south-western Somalia, and south-eastern Kenya.
