Rainfall
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of Djibouti, in parts of central and southern Eritrea, in parts of northeastern, southeastern and southwestern Ethiopia, in part of southeastern South Sudan, in central parts of Somalia, in much of northwester, central and south-central Kenya, in part of southern Rwanda, and in parts of western, central northern, coastal and southern Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in a several parts of south Sudan, in parts of western Eritrea, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern part of Somalia, in northwestern, southwestern and southeastern Uganda, in parts of western Kenya, and in southern and eastern parts of Burundi.
Usual rainfall conditions and no rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Djibouti, in central and southern Eritrea, in parts of northeastern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in central Somalia, in southeastern part of South Sudan, in much of northwestern, central and south-central Kenya, in southern Rwanda, in several parts of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in parts of western of Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in western and coastal Kenya, in northwestern, southwestern and southeastern parts of Uganda, in southern and eastern Burundi, and in parts of eastern Tanzania.
Near Normal and no rainfall conditions were observed in northeastern and southern Ethiopia, in northwestern and eastern parts of South Sudan, in southern Somalia, in eastern parts of Kenya, in northwestern, central and southern parts of Uganda, and in northern parts of Rwanda.
Heavy rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in parts of central of Kenya and in southern part of Tanzania.
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 51-200 mm was observed in southern parts of Ethiopia, in western, central and southeastern Uganda, in several parts of western and central Kenya, in western and central Rwanda, in northern Burundi, and in northern, eastern and coastal parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 50 mm was observed in parts southern parts of South Sudan, in eastern parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern Somalia, in much of western Uganda, in northern and eastern parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, and in eastern and southern Burundi,
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in several parts of Eritrea, South Sudan, northern, central and western Ethiopia, in parts of northern Somalia, in southeastern Kenya, and in central and southern Tanzania.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in much of Sudan, western Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northwestern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of northern South Sudan, and in northeastern Somalia,
