Heavy rainfall (100-200mm) observed in a few isolated areas of western Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall (50 - 100 mm) observed in north-western and western parts of South Sudan and Ethiopia.
Light rainfall (25 - 50 mm) observed in the southern borders of Sudan, northern, central, north-eastern and south-western parts of South Sudan, north-western and south-eastern Uganda, and western parts and north-eastern coast of Kenya
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed in much of the central to southern parts of Sudan, south-western Eritrea, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, parts of central Ethiopia, south-eastern Somalia, north-eastern, central, and southern parts of Uganda, parts of western, central and coastal Kenya, and in north-eastern coast of Tanzania.
Normal dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions observed in much of central and northern Sudan, and north-western, central and southern Eritrea. In much of Djibouti, north-eastern, southern and eastern Ethiopia, northern, central and south-western Somalia, much of northern, eastern and southern Kenya, eastern Rwanda, Burundi, and much of Tanzania.
Wetter and much wetter than normal conditions observed in a few places in south-eastern Sudan, western Eritrea, and north-eastern parts of Ethiopia.
Normal rainfall conditions observed in south-central and south-eastern Sudan, much of northern and central South Sudan, north-western and western parts of Ethiopia, south-eastern Somalia, a few areas in north-western and south-eastern Uganda, and in western and coastal parts of Kenya.
Drier and much drier than usual conditions observed over parts of central and south-western Sudan, southern parts of South Sudan, central and south-western parts of Ethiopia, over much of Uganda, north-western and central parts of Kenya, western Rwanda, and in northern and coastal parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions observed in northern and parts of central Sudan, central, southern and coastal Eritrea, Djibouti, north-eastern, southern and eastern Ethiopia, much of northern and central Somalia, much of the northern, eastern and south-central parts of Kenya, eastern Rwanda, Burundi, and most of Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions observed in south-eastern Sudan extending to western Eritrea and north-eastern Ethiopia, and in a few isolated areas of western and central South Sudan and western Ethiopia.
Normal rainfall conditions observed in several areas of southern parts of Sudan, much of western and south-western Ethiopia, southern parts of Somalia, much of northern and central South Sudan, parts of western and south-western Uganda, western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in parts of western Rwanda.
